Automotive consumer confidence increases

In countries where the lock down is flexible, we see the automotive is slowly getting better. The consumer confidence is increasing and as first the occasion market restores.

On April 14th, Austria eased their Lock down rules. In the meantime, one and a half month later, the sales of occasions is for 80% restored. Also, we see Germany cheering up. In Germany, the lock down was eased on April 20th. The occasion sales is restored to 90% regarding the level before the corona crisis.

We expect this tendency will move forward to the other countries that soften the lock down.

When the automotive consumer confidence hold on, the sales of new cars will recover soon.
