As of 21 May 2018 Network4Cars has finalized all the required steps to comply with the latest EU regulations related to data protection.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individual citizens of the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA). It also addresses the transfer of personal data outside the EU and EEA areas. The GDPR aims primarily to give control to individuals over their personal data and to simplify the regulatory environment for international business by unifying the regulation within the EU.

"We are proud to have finalized the internal procedures to comply with the GDPR law. Besides internal procedures and data processing, Network4Cars works with different external partners to either store and/or process customer data. To ensure customer data is processed according GDPR regulations all Network4Cars partners who store and/or process customer data for Network4Cars have signed a Data storage and processing declaration and thereby comply to GDPR regulations."
