Celebrating 25 years of Network4Cars

October 1st 2025, marks a special milestone:

25 years of Network4Cars!

When we started out in 2000, the idea was daring. In a traditional automotive market, we decided to build an international trading company for brand-new 0-kilometer cars. Looking back, it was a leap into the unknown, and yet, it became the beginning of a remarkable journey.

At that time, the Volkswagen Golf was the best-selling car in Europe, and 25 years later it still remains in the top three. But the world around us has changed dramatically. Who could have imagined that today the Dacia Sandero would top the European sales charts, when back then Dacia was selling a modest Supernova that wasn’t even officially available in Western Europe?

Change has been the one constant in our industry, and it has been at the heart of our own journey as well. From our early days exporting right-hand drive cars to the UK, to expanding into Germany and soon after the whole of Europe, we quickly discovered the importance of bringing international supply and demand together. By 2007 we became stockholding, supplying cars directly from our own facilities, a turning point that allowed us to serve our customers faster and with greater reliability.

In 2011 we moved into a larger headquarters in Nieuw-Vennep, and from 2015 onwards, new sales offices across Europe followed. Just a year later, we expanded beyond Europe, venturing into markets as far away as the United States, Mexico, North Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Each step was a new chapter in a story defined by ambition, resilience and adaptation.

Of course, there have been highs and lows along the way. Good times that gave us momentum and difficult times that tested our determination. Looking back now, the journey is so full of experiences that it’s hard to capture in words, sometimes we joke that we could write an entire book about it!

What we can say with certainty is this: we would not be here without you. Our customers, suppliers and partners have been at the center of everything we’ve achieved. Your trust, collaboration and loyalty have shaped Network4Cars as much as our own decisions and investments. For that, we are deeply grateful.

And of course, a very special thank you goes out to everyone who has ever been part of the Network4Cars team. Over the past 25 years, colleagues past and present have played an invaluable role in building our company, shaping our culture and driving our success. Your dedication, energy and passion have made all the difference, and this milestone belongs to you as well.

Today, the automotive world is changing faster than ever. The global drive to reduce CO₂ emissions and the transition to electric mobility are well underway. New entrants are reshaping traditional markets and changing existing distribution models. At the same time, consumer behavior is shifting rapidly: cars last longer, online purchasing is increasingly embraced, and mobility is becoming more rational. These changes bring challenges, but also exciting opportunities. And just as we have done for the past 25 years, we will continue to adapt, innovate, and build the future, together with you.

So here’s to the past 25 years, with all their challenges and achievements. And here’s to the road ahead, building the future side by side.
